molinillo

So here's a relatively quick drawing of a molinillo. Note the hand carved stamp is based on the top of the molinillo. I'm obessessed with this stamp and I'm using it everywhere! I've got like 3 or 4 quilts and 4 or 5 collages on canvas, all with this stamp.

Love your Molinillos, I also have a few because I'm from Monterrey, Mexico and still have the one that was used for my chocolate every morning. Now I use the Braun electric blender "stick" instead.

  2. I just learned that 'dutch" process cocoa removes the fats ad antioxidants from cocoa, so if you want to put those Molinillos to work, I say no 'dutched' cocoa. Beside that, great drawing and stamp. Like the juxtaposition of the two.
